Food Marquee

The Devon and Cornwall Food Marquee was introduced following the Foot and Mouth crisis and is specifically targeted at small producers based in the two counties.

Local food is gaining ever greater popularity and is indelibly linked with the issues of "food miles" and "global warming".

Although starting from humble beginnings the organisers would hope to see perhaps 20 producers or so exhibiting in 2010 to enhance what has already become an integral part of the Show.

Last year's visitors to the Show had a real variety of locally produced food to pick from including fresh garden produce, cheese, sausages, cider, pasta, sweets, herbs, dips and preserves.
