Merryn Philip: the Bursary was a fantastic opportunity for me to pursue my dream of travelling to Canada and learning about their way of agriculture. I can 't put into words how much the trip has taught me, helped me to grow as a person and as an added benefit, have found lifetime friends there. It was a once in a life time experience, all with thanks to Launceston Agricultural Association.
Ruth Wills: (Farmers Weekly journalist) "Thanks to funding from the Launceston Agricultural Association I was able to attend The Challenge of Rural Leadership Course, teaching all aspects of leadership and personal development. Organised by the Rural Business School and Worshipful Company of Farmers, places on this prestigious course are much sought after, seeing people across the UK and abroad all vying for a place. The course teaches all aspects of leadership as well as offering space for personal development, as a result, I have the confidence to grow both professionally and personally.
